Relaxed or sensory-friendly performances are designed for people who find a traditional theater visit hard: autistic people, people with sensory sensitivities, young children and their families. The house lights stay partly up, loud effects are softened, and it is fine to talk, move around or step out. There is usually a quiet space in the lobby, too.
